Boil the potato
chop and leave aside
In a frying pan add the cooking oil of your choice and let it heat.
Once the oil is well heated add the cumin seeds and fry them for a minute
Add the chopped onions and let them cook for another minute
Then add the tomatoes - cook it for a minute or 2 and add some water to make it into gravy
Put garam masala powder and turmeric powder to the gravy and let it cook on medium heat till thick
Add 1 teaspoon of Sugar to the thick paste and mix the potatoes into the mixture stirring it well
Let it cook for 3 minutes before taking off from heat
garnish with coriander and serve hot
