    This Sweet Chutney is easy to make and works like a charm with paratha, toast and pakoda, apart from using in chaats.
    Main Preperation Steps
    • Soak tamarind/imli with 1 cup water in a bowl and, soak raisins with water in another bowl, for 10 mins or more.

    • Now, Extract juice from tamarind and grind the raisins to form a paste of it.

    • Cook extracted tamarind juice in a pan or wok until it starts to boil. Now add jaggery, raisins paste, red chili powder, cumin powder, rock salt and mix well.

    • Cook in medium flame until jaggery dissolves and chutney becomes thick while stirring regularly. Add cardamom powder. Mix well and turn off the flame.
